Precitec Cutting Head Consumables
Consumables for Precitec heads, mapped by head series rather than listed as a parts catalogue. Where a revision can change the part, the table says so and we confirm against your head model before shipping.
How to read this chart
Precitec heads are sold under series names, and the consumables that fit are decided by the series and the revision — not by the brand alone. The common surprise is that the ProCutter and the ProCutter 2.0 take different ceramic rings, because the ring seats on a different body diameter. A table that only says "Precitec" will get a workshop into exactly that trouble.
So the cells in this chart say two different things. A cell that names one part number is a specification we are prepared to stand behind for that series. A cell that names a family — D28 / D32, 20 sizes — means we stock the family but the head model, revision and cartridge decide which one; that is the check we do before anything ships, and it is the reason this page is more useful than a catalogue.
Consumables by head series
| Head series | Ceramic ring | Nozzle | Protective lens | Focus lens |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ProCutter 2.0 | D31-M11 | D28 / D32 | 20 sizes | D30 FL100/125 |
| ProCutter (first generation, incl. Zoom / Prime / Thunder variants) | D28-M11 | D28 / D32 | 20 sizes | D30 FL100/125 |
| MiniCutter | 5 ring sizes | D28 / D32 | 20 sizes | D30 FL100/125 |
| SolidCutter (3D) | 5 ring sizes | D28 / D32 / 3D-M8 | 20 sizes | D30 FL100/125 |
Where a cell names a family instead of a single part number, it means we stock that family — the head model, the revision and the cartridge decide which one. That check is what we do before shipping.
Rows are series, not individual part numbers: Precitec sells several variants inside a series and a workshop usually knows its head by the series name on the nameplate. If you are replacing a ring, the useful photo is the old ring next to a rule, plus the head nameplate.
What we keep and what we match per order
| Part | What we hold in stock | What we confirm per order |
|---|---|---|
| Ceramic ring | D31-M11 for ProCutter 2.0, D28-M11 for the first-generation ProCutter, plus D32-M14 and D19.5-M8 covering other head families | Ring diameter and thread, head series and revision |
| Nozzle | D28 and D32 bodies in single and double layer, coated and uncoated, plus E-type in both; 3D-M8; Bullet; DNE D15 and D17 | Body diameter, thread, bore, and whether the head is 2D or 3D |
| Protective window | 20 sizes from 18×2 to 55×9 mm, rated from 4 kW to 30 kW — including 27.9×4.1, 30×5, 34×5, 37×7, 38.1×1.6, 42×9 and 55×9 | Diameter, thickness, power rating and cartridge |
| Focus lens | D30 with FL100 and FL125 as regular stock lines; 63.5–254 mm to order | Diameter, focal length and coating |
That is the range we actually hold. Which one your head takes still has to be matched to the model — the stock list tells you what is possible, not what is correct.
Ordering and confirmation
- Send the head series and the machine model. A photo of the nameplate is faster than a description.
- Send a photo of the old part next to a rule, or the edge marking on a lens. This resolves most of the cases where a customer has previously been shipped the wrong size.
- We reply with the exact variant and the available bore or focal length options.
- You confirm, we ship. Wholesale quantities and OEM packaging for distributors are available on the same flow.
Three mistakes specific to Precitec heads
- A ring for a ProCutter will not fit a ProCutter 2.0. The 2.0 body takes a larger ring, and forcing the smaller ring damages the sensing seat rather than seating badly.
- Nozzle thread and ring thread are two different threads. The nozzle screws into the ceramic ring; the ring screws onto the head body. Mixing the two is the most common cause of a nozzle that will not run concentric.
- Replacing the ring without checking the cable. A cracked ring and a damaged height-sensing cable present the same way. If the fault appeared without a crash, check the cable before buying parts.
